Well, my sweet Celtics couldn’t get ‘er done, and I fear after the heart break of losing Ray Allen last year (to the dreaded Miami Hate – I mean Heat – no less), it’ll only get worse.  Odds are, KG and Paul Pierce won’t be back next season either.  Sobs.  But I’ll power on, and move my cheers to the other team of great old men:  San Antonio.  Go Spurs Go!  Tonight!  There’s still a lot of basketball left until June 20. Yes, June 20.

How exciting have these NBA finals been? I’ve made it pretty clear, I’m all for the Old Men. Imagine the Celtics versus the Spurs in the finals, proving 35 really is the new 25? For this 41 year old lady, that’s way inspiring! And while I dislike the Heat and King James in all his glory, I love Oklahoma City too so very torn on the Spurs match up.

The point for fans of all 4 teams, we got your stripes! So:
• If you are cheering for Rondo and the big 3, get your green and white stripes

It’s been a little hard to get into the NBA this year – lock out, shortened season, etc. But now that we are down to 16 teams (and one of em is the Celtics, and two of em, you just have to admire the old guys continuing to do the work – Celtics and San Antonio Spurs), it’s time to remind you to stripe up to support your team!

Of the 16 teams, we have exact colors for 13 teams, and are close for Dallas (royal and white instead of royal and black) and the Lakers (purple and white instead of purple and yellow).
